A 3 month ritual immersion in Black feminist wisdom, herbal medicine, and burlesque performance as healing.

Erotic Conjure Medicine is a deep, devotional immersion for those called to the stage, the altar, and the erotic as sacred healing practice. Over the course of 3 months (part 1 online, part 2 in person), you'll move through an intimate exploration of Black feminist theory, herbal aphrodisiac medicine, and burlesque performance ritual—all in service of reclaiming the body as a site of power, pleasure, and spiritual knowing.

What to Expect:

    • Study aphrodisiac and heart opening herbs alongside their spiritual properties

    • Explore cacao ceremony and plant spirit connection

    • Create your own herbal potions for healing and sensual support

    • Study the erotic as defined by Audre Lorde, unapologetic freedom fighting by Assata, and Black feminist lessons by Alexis Pauline Gumbs

    • Reclaim your erotic intelligence as resistance, legacy, and liberation

    • Learn the foundations of burlesque ritual performance

    • Practice erotic movement rituals, somatic expression, and storytelling through strip

    • Craft and perform your own burlesque performance ritual—rooted in your healing, your story, and your power in Costa Rica

    • You’re a survivor, seeker, or sensualist reclaiming your erotic self

No dance or performance experience required.* All bodies, all backgrounds welcome. You are receiving:

*this is for those who want to use performance art, burlesque, herbalism, Black feminism, and ritual as healing and liberation. This is a hybrid program, where we meet online and culminate with a burlesque retreat in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica.
