DIOSA Ceremony is a boutique immersive women’s sensual healing festival devoted to the feminine arts, sensual awakening, ritual performance, and embodied liberation. It blends live performance, ceremony, healing arts, and movement into a two-day experience designed to awaken and celebrate women from across the world.
Held on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, DIOSA unfolds as a living ceremony — where mornings begin in grounding and devotion, afternoons open into movement and creative expression, and evenings bloom into performance, song, and sensual celebration.
DIOSA centers women — with Black women held at the heart — and welcomes all who feel called to gather in reverence, softness, and embodied truth.

GROW WITH GRIEF: Grow with Grief is a 90-minute experience that aligns movement, breath work, and chanting to connect us with our grief and nurture our chakra systems. It will highlight the places grief shows up and encourage both stimulation and release. This practice is slow, yet energetic, and feels almost like dancing. Naming our grief is the way we use it, move with it, and blossom through what we face.

PORTAL SCULPTING: A YONI SCULPTING FINE ARTS COURSE: This is a fine arts sculpting workshop grounded in sacred and intentional hands-on clay sculpting; cultivating mini sculptures of the wombman's sacred portal, the vagina. In this workshop you will learn art discourse within the art form of sculpting, learn how to use basic sculpting tools to create a small Yoni sculpture and practice the sacredness of intentional and conceptual art-making.

WOMB RHYTHM: THE DJEMBE WITHIN is a 90-minute ceremonial movement journey that invites women to reconnect with the deep rhythm living inside their bodies.
In many West African traditions, the djembe is known as a drum that calls the community together. Its beat speaks to the earth, to the ancestors, and to the body. In this workshop, that drum becomes a metaphor for the womb — a center of intuition, creativity, sensuality, and life force.
Through a gentle weaving of yoga, breath-work, traditional African dance, sacred feminine movement, and intuitive free flow, participants are guided to listen for the rhythm within their own bodies.

AWAKENING THE FIRE GODDESS: Awaken the primal fire that lives within you in this 1.5-hour feminine embodiment journey devoted to the element of fire. This workshop invites you to reconnect with your inner power, sensuality, courage, and creative life force through movement, ritual, and sacred dance.
We will begin with a short somatic grounding practice to arrive fully into our bodies, releasing tension and awakening presence. From there, we will explore fire embodiment through guided dance, allowing the energy of the fire element to move through us freely — igniting confidence, passion, and vitality.
Once the fire within is awakened, you will be introduced to the art of fire dancing, learning foundational movements in a safe and supportive environment. No previous experience is needed — only curiosity and a willingness to explore.
The experience culminates in a fire ceremony and a sacred fire dance, celebrating the flame we carry within.
This is a space for women to feel powerful, embodied, and deeply connected to their inner goddess of fire. 🔥✨

REMEMBRANCE: A SACRED ARCHIVE FOR THE WOMB: Within the cells of our bodies lies an ancient map—a sacred archive of wisdom, resilience, and joy passed down through generations. Remembrance is an invitation to return to that source.
In this immersive workshop, we center the Black woman’s body as a site of profound ancestral healing. Through the lens of Ancestral Herbalism and Womb-Centered Ritual, we will move through "The Return"—a ceremony designed to peel back the layers of the modern world and activate your innate Womb Wisdom.
What to Expect:
Herbal Invocation: Engaging the senses with ancestral plants to ground the nervous system.
Somatic Remembrance: Gentle, pelvic-focused movement to release stagnant energy.
The Archive Meditation: A guided journey into the womb to listen to the stories held within.

SACRED RESONANCE: SOUND, SENSUAL MOVEMENT & SOMATIC RELEASE: Sacred Resonance is a guided sensual embodiment ritual designed to help women reconnect with the wisdom and aliveness of their bodies.
Through harmonic sound healing, intuitive somatic movement, gentle self-touch practices, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping, participants are invited into a slow and sacred process of release, softness, and embodied presence.
This session honors the body as a living instrument of sensation, emotion, and intuition. Participants will be guided to move, breathe, and feel in ways that awaken sensual awareness, regulate the nervous system, and allow stored tension to soften and release.
Harmonic sound frequencies from singing bowls create a vibrational soundscape that supports deep relaxation and energetic alignment while somatic movement and tapping practices encourage emotional expression and embodied freedom.
Sacred Resonance is a consent-based experience where every practice is invitational. Women are encouraged to move at their own pace, honor their bodies, and explore what it means to inhabit their sensual presence with softness and sovereignty.
Participants will leave feeling more grounded, open, and connected to the intelligence of their bodies.

WOMEN REBIRTHING THE WORLD: WOMEN REBIRTHING THE WORLD will share chants, rituals, offerings and the sacred assignments of powerful African Mothers like Mami Wata, Nana Buruku, Yemaya, Oshun, Obba, Oya. Nana Sula will teach various ways we can adopt their power to invoke change in our lives and on our planet. We will learn sacred medicine that will be added to our spiritual tool bag and develop a closer walk with the Mothers of Light. We are one with them.

RETURNING TO THE ROOT: ORI CARE & SACRED BATH RITUALS: Returning to the Root is a 90-minute devotional workshop exploring the sacred practice of caring for the head within Afro-diasporic spiritual traditions. Participants will be introduced to the concept of Ori—the inner head and spiritual center—and its importance within Yoruba cosmology. The workshop will guide participants in gentle Ori care, including how to physically wash and tend to the head as an act of reverence and alignment.
Participants will also be guided through simple altar practices and the preparation of sacred baths associated with cooling waters traditionally called upon to support clarity, emotional balance, and rest. This hands-on experience includes gently washing the head; participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and bring a small towel or head scarf, as there is a possibility of getting slightly wet.
Designed for women, this workshop offers accessible practices that can be repeated at home as an ongoing form of devotional self-care.

In this signature Feminine Dance Therapy experience, Nubia Sade guides you through a deeply transformative somatic journey designed to unlock your voice and hips—the two most suppressed centers of feminine expression. Through intentional movement, guided activation, and emotional release, you will reconnect to your body, awaken your sensuality, and reclaim your authentic voice.

This journaling session, infused with the oracle and the poetry of Audre Lorde, is designed to help you access that part of yourself without apology.

GROUNDING THROUGH STILLNESS: Grounding Through Stillness is a 90 minute yin yoga and breathwork experience. Grounding Through Stillness will guide participants into a relaxed and restorative practice as we use Stillness and the breath to create space in the body and release trauma. This slow and still practice sends signals to our nervous system that we are safe and allows us to sink into softness.

LIVING AND DYEING: INTUITIVE INDIGO DYE WORKSHOP: In this workshop, we will explore intuitive creative process and symbology using indigo vat dying and intuitive tying. During our exploration, participants will learn some of the history behind Yoruba indigenous uses of indigo and our symbology in tie dyeing. We will speak blessings over a collective indigo vat, tie and dye. This workshop is meant to awaken the sensual joy of using our intuitive creativity. Participants can bring their own (organic material) cloth or use what will be provided.
